How to Customise Your Always-on Display on the New iPhone 14 Pro
iPhone 14 Pro
Wanting to make your new iPhone 14 Pro look different than everyone else's? You're in luck! Apple now has a setting that lets you choose what app you want on your Always-on Display (a.k.a the little clock).
Once you enable it, head over to Settings and scroll down until you see Apps. Select Always On Apps and then choose your desired app from the list. Once enabled, this will display as your Always On clock any time your phone is locked, even when it's in sleep mode or powered off. To change the color of the display, tap Change Colors under Clock Face Style. If you prefer something more stylish or simple, scroll through all of them until you find one that suits your needs.
If you don't want an app at all, just deselect it by tapping its green check mark icon before pressing Done in the top right corner. Now when your iPhone 14 Pro is in sleep mode or powered off, there won't be anything staring back at you besides a blank screen.
Use the options to customise your Always On Display
The new Always-on Display on the iPhone 14 Pro has a few different options for how it shows your notifications. You can choose to show just one notification, or up to three notifications. You can also choose what order they display in and if you want them displayed as an icon or text.
1) To change how many notifications are shown: Tap Settings > General > Rest Finger to View > then tap either 1 Notification, 2 Notifications, or 3 Notifications.
2) To change what order your notifications are shown in: Tap Settings > General > Rest Finger to View > then tap Sort By and select either by Time or by App.
3) To change between showing icons or text: Tap Settings > General > Rest Finger to View > Show Text or Show Icons.
