Introduction
Monster Hunter is a series of video games published by Capcom. It has been around since 2004, but the latest installment of Monster Hunter was released in 2018. This new installment, Monster Hunter: World, is the most successful game to date. With over 11 million copies sold in just three months, it proves that people are really interested in the series. In this blog post I will be discussing some of the new content found in Monster hunter: world as well as how to download a free title update!
What is in the update?
The next update will be called Sunbreak and will bring a brand new Quest Area to the game. Players will need to explore the area in order to find out what has happened there. When you first enter, you'll find yourself in a small village that is still going about its business. But all is not as it seems - you'll notice that the villagers are acting strangely, as if they're being controlled by something.
You'll have to explore the village and uncover what's going on with these people while battling against all kinds of different enemies and tackling various quests, before finally being able to take on the final boss once again. Along your journey, you can also expect new weapon types such as dual blades, lances, and more! With this latest update, Monster Hunter players will now be able to experience new monsters from earlier titles including Diablos, Tigrex, and Nargacuga.
In addition, some old classics like Rathalos and Tetsucabra make their appearance too. If you're wondering what those numbers in the header are for? They represent the difficulty level ranging from 1 (Beginner) up to 8 (Professional). Get ready for an unforgettable adventure that is sure to take even veteran players back into their world!
How to get the update?
Monster Hunter players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC will have to own the game Monster Hunter World in order to get the update. Those that already have Monster Hunter World can download the new content by going to their Library, selecting Monster Hunter World and then downloading the update.
The update will be live on Thursday, March 14 at 5pm PT/8pm ET/12am GMT. A system update is required for this content patch so make sure your PS4 is set to receive automatic updates.
After downloading the patch, players can start playing right away or go into the settings menu of Monster Hunter World to find out more about what's included in this update. In addition to a variety of bug fixes and balance changes, there are also two new monsters from the upcoming title Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak! Gourmentmaus Gigantaus has a hefty appetite and doesn't hesitate to eat whatever prey it comes across.
Often seen feasting near its nest or while on patrol, it packs quite the bite with its long, sharp teeth. Megavolt L'aileur takes advantage of its electric nature by using bolts of electricity as projectiles when hunting prey as well as protecting itself from attacks with an electric barrier. It can even release powerful bursts of energy to attack foes that may be close-by or far away.
Conclusion
Monster Hunter is a series of action role-playing games which has sold over 53 million copies worldwide. The series was developed by Capcom in Japan and localized for the West by its American subsidiary Capcom USA. It has since become the company’s flagship franchise, spanning spin-off shows and films.
This third-person game features players taking on quests to hunt down monsters, either solo or with up to three other players via local wireless connection or online multiplayer. In each quest, gamers must track down monsters that usually require specific items such as herbs (collectible plants), bug nets (catching tools) or paintballs (projectiles) for hunting them.
For every monster successfully hunted, gamers are awarded parts from the carcass which can be used to craft new weapons and armor. Weapons have durability, so they will eventually break if too much damage is taken; this can be repaired by using consumables found during missions.
Armor pieces also have durability but it can only be repaired at the smithy in town where it can be forged back into materials for creating more equipment. Each weapon type has advantages against certain types of enemies, but some weapons perform better than others depending on player style; this includes powerful sweeping attacks using a greatsword and slower but more powerful sword strikes using an uchigatana.
