Microsoft Teams Adds Four Games to Keep Things Fun During Remote Work

Microsoft Teams, the chat-based collaboration platform that’s been available to Office 365 Business and Enterprise users since mid-2017, recently rolled out four games designed to help keep things fun in remote work teams.
Dubbed Games Explorer, the games are available in the Microsoft Teams app on iOS and Android as well as on the web version of Microsoft Teams. The team collaboration apps comes with four new games designed to engage and motivate remote workers while improving their productivity through distraction and exercise.
The four new games are:
Players can choose from four new games: Snipperclips, The Jackbox Party Pack 4, Super Mario Maker 2, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Snipperclips is a game where players are tasked with cutting the other player into shapes by making them fall into designated areas on the screen.
The Jackbox Party Pack 4 offers five party games that are played in a group setting. These games include Tee K.O., Guesspionage, Quiplash 2, and Drawful 2. Super Mario Maker 2 lets gamers design their own levels for the original Super Mario Bros., or even remix stages from later games like Super Mario 3D World or Super Mario Odyssey.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons focuses on exploration and building up your own town of animals; it’s set to release in 2020. Microsoft also announced plans to bring these games, as well as Beam and Minecraft to mobile devices next year.
