Pokemon Scarlet and Violet NSFW Bug: 10 Things You Didn
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
5) What does it do?
This bug is a glitch in the Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal game ROMs. This bug can be exploited to make certain Pokémon appear as if they have been traded when they have not been. The most well-known exploit for this is for the player's starter Pokémon to change into another Pokémon, such as Eevee or Chansey.
This change does not result in any changes to the player's name or ID number (the numbers displayed at the beginning of battles) and it cannot be undone once performed. The only way to revert the changes made by this glitch are by using a cheating device like GameShark or Action Replay.
6) Is it harmful?
Not harmful at all. The game will appear to have some bugs, but it is not a virus or anything that could harm your computer.
1) The bug has been known to make people's screens go black for periods of time, but it is only a visual bug and the game remains playable.
2) There are also reports that some players cannot progress past a certain part of the game because they cannot find the location they need to be in to continue.
3) This bug can also cause players' save files to become corrupted if they save their data during one of these black screens.
4) Players who encounter this problem can fix it by logging out of their account and logging back in again.
7) Can it be fixed?
No. There is no way to fix this bug. There are a few workarounds that can help you avoid the problem, but they are not perfect. This is a very serious bug and it will be interesting to see how Nintendo responds over the next few days/weeks.
